TARNO, Josie Of Flint, age 86, died Wednesday, August 13, 1997 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will be held at 3PM Saturday, August 16, 1997 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Thomas Mattiuzzo officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to Riverside Tabernacle. Visitation 5-9PM Thursday and 1-4 and 6-9PM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Tarno was born in Campbell, Missouri on September 23, 1910 and was a resident of Flint since 1928, having come from Missouri. She was a member of Riverside Tabernacle since 1932. Surviving are daughter, Beverly and husband Gerald Willman of Flint; 2 grandchildren, Greg and wife Linda and Hugh; 4 great-grandchildren, Kristy, Kevin, Jeffery and Jared Willman; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie, on July 10, 1994; grandaughter, Linda Willman in 1972; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
