ROY NAFZIGER
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded
by his family, on Sunday,
November 9, 2008. Roy was born 90
years ago on March 27, 1918 in Wilmot
township, the son of the late Peter
and Christina (Jantzi) Nafziger. Beloved
husband of Luella (Erb) Nafziger
for 61 years. Dear father of Sheryl of
Kitchener and Gail of Calgary, Alberta.

Emmanuel, Eyo and Emelia (Eme).
Survived by two sisters, Vera Helmuth
and Dora Wagler both of New
Hamburg; sister-in-law, Edna O'Brien
and her husband Gerald of Waterloo;
and brother-in-law, Wilfred Erb
and his wife Rita of Collingwood.
Also survived by many nieces and
nephews. Roy was a lifetime member
of St. Agatha Mennonite Church in
Baden. Predeceased by his parents; a
sister in infancy; step-mother, Elizabeth
(Jutzi) Nafziger; brother, John
Nafziger and his wife Mildred; brothers-
in-law, Lorne Wagler, Norman
Helmuth, Clayton Erb and his wife
Marjorie, Melvin Erb and his wife
Edith, Vernon Erb, and Ray Erb and
his wife Lucy. Visitation will be held
at the Erb & Good Family Funeral
Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on
Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Roy's
life will be held in the chapel of the
funeral home on Wednesday, November
12, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Doug
Snyder officiating. Reception to follow
in the Fireside Reception Room
of the funeral home. A private family
interment will take place at St. Agatha
Mennonite Church prior to the
service. Sincere appreciation to Dr.
Deen, Dr. Keleher, CCAC nurses and
Pastor Doug Snyder for your home
visits and care. Also special thanks
to Dr. McFarlane for your care. In
lieu of flowers, as an expression of
sympathy, donations to the Mennonite
Central Committee, The Canadian
Hearing Society or St. Agatha Mennonite
Church would be appreciated
