John Goodwin 1861-1957 was son of Joshua Goodwin Jr. and Mary Ann Wollery. He was married to Elizabeth Jane (Jennie) Bisel and together they had the following children: Willis, Maudie, Nola, John, Gilford, Robert, Russell, Carl, Mary, Glenn, and Jennie.
