A. L. Torrence was born as Al Lee Torrence. Son of James H. & Jane E. Miller Torrence.

Al married Lula Hulen daughter of Thomas Hulen and Angeline Dewitt on November 18, 1885 in Lamar County, Texas.

After Al's death his wife Lula Hulen remarried June 22,1890 in Choctaw Nation Indian Territory to Robert Turner Everidge.

Lula is buried at the Everidge Cemetery, Choctaw County, Oklahoma.
