According to the probate index, available online at FamilySearch (LDS) for Snyder County, Letter of Administration was issued for Reuben DeLong's estate, Book 3 Page 144, this record lists his DOD as 22 Jan 1886.
Another source suggests he died Jan 22, 1890; and still another has died Jul 22, 1886.

Reuben was traditionally the son of Gideon DeLong & his first wife (Caterina or Hannah?) Wagner, however if birth date is correct it is possible that he is son of the 2nd wife Hannah Bingaman.
