Services for Edna Rains Johnson, age 80, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, February 10, 1997 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Nolan Logan, retired pastor. Burial will be in Forest Park West.

Mrs. Johnson died Saturday, February 8, 1997 at 6:15 p.m. at Willis-Knighton Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Mansfield, LA and had been a resident of Shreveport for the past 20 years. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Life Tabernacle.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by one son, L. C. Rains, Jr. and wife, Bobbie; two daughters, Maurine Palmer and husband, Lyle and Betty Flores and husband, Adrian, all of Shreveport LA; two sisters, Maude Horton of Benton, LA and Marie Goss of Bossier City, LA; one brother, Morris Vascoe of Bossier City, LA; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Neil Hargrove, Arthur Lles, Bob Mackey, Jerry Pugh, Jerry Horton and Donald Flores.
