Services were held at the Cease Chapel at Bagley, Saturday for Alfred Rudolph Dagestad of Bagley, who died at the Bemidji Hospital December 7. The Rev. Winston Grant officiated with burial in Clearwater Cemetery at Shevlin.
Alfred Dagestad was born in Dennison, MN, November 14, 1909, to parents John and Karen Dagestad, and moved to Clearwater County in 1912 locating in Copley Township. He moved to Bagley in 1939. Mr. Dagestad had been employed by the Great Northern Railroad since 1937. Survivors include two brothers, Peter of Bagley and Nels of Bemidji; a sister, Julia Dagestad of Bagley. He was predeceased by a son, Gary.
