Son of Sixkiller (Rufus, Old Soldier) and Gu-er-tsa Smith.

He married (1)Ellen Alie Keath (buried at this cem.); they had the following children: Betsy d. before 1906; Esiah b. 1852 d. 1865; Johnson B. b. 1863,; Jennie A. Sixkiller Lacie Grigsby (buried at this cem.); Eliza b. abt 1865 d. 1885; and Susan Sixkiller b. abt 1868. He also adoped Lucy Duncan [Click on: Lucy Duncan Still.], daugher of Alie and John Duncan, who married Tom Still.

He married (2) Ruth (Lou-see) Thornton b. abt 1855 d. 5 Apr 1884 (buried in Thornton Cem., near Baron in present Adair Co., OK).

Aka: Gah-tah-kuh Su-dul-de-he; he was elected Councilor respresenting Going Snake Dist., CN, IT in 1867, 1869, 1877, & 1881. He was a Senator from Going Snake Dist. in 1871 & 1873.

He was killed by George Parris--it was called an accidental shooting (careless handling of a gun).
