ST. AGATHA - Lucille M. Bourgoin, 77, died Oct. 7, 2003, after a short battle with cancer at a Fort Kent nursing home. She was born April 20, 1926, in St. Agatha, the daughter of Ligorie and Annie (Chasse) Marquis. Lucille was a loving, caring and devoted mother. Her children and grandchildren will sadly miss her. She is survived by seven sons, Randolph Bourgoin Jr., of Millinocket, Gerald Bourgoin and his wife, Linda, of Madawaska, Paul E. Bourgoin and his wife, Jeannine, of Florida, Michael Bourgoin of Fort Kent, Gary Bourgoin of Terryville, Conn., Steven Bourgoin of St. Agatha and Jim Bourgoin and his wife, Kim, of Terryville, Conn., six daughters, Gilda Bourgoin of Connecticut, Gloria Vaillancourt of Madawaska, Stella Dumais and her husband, Michael of Frenchville, Sandra Babin and her husband, Gary, of St. Agatha, Sylvia Beaulieu of Frenchville and Nora Michaud and her husband, Paul, of Frenchville; 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Randolph Bourgoin Sr., in 1980; a daughter, Della and a grandson, Jesse. Relatives and friends may call at the Michaud Funeral Home in Frenchville, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. Thursday until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Angelo Levasseur officiating. Burial will be in the St. Luce Cemetery. For those who desire donations may be made to the Edgar Paradis Cancer Fund.
