Mrs. Bushyhead was born Oct. 23, 1884 is Westville. She was the daughter of W.A. Hern and Margaret Richardson Hern. She was a member of the Westville First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Bushyhead died Feb. 23 in the Palomar Memorial Hospital in Escondido, Calif., where she had gone to visit her foster daughter, Jeanette Stewart. Her death was attributed to a heart ailment. Mrs. Bushyhead and the late Mr. Bushyhead were well known in this area. He was the son of chief Dennis Bushyead, chief of the Cherokee Indians. Burial was in the Baptist Mission Cemetery.
