She was born December 5, 1900 in Sandy, Utah to Henry Martin and Hulda Winkler Pearson. On June 18, 1923, she married Ernest Albert Ferguson in Farmington, Utah. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1962. Genevieve served as a Relief Society Visiting teacher for 60 years in the Sandy 4th LDS Ward. She was also a lifetime resident of Sandy.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 1990 at 11 A.M. in the Mount Jordan 3rd LDS Ward Chapel, 8950 South 400 East, Sandy, Utah, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
Interment: Sandy City Cemetery.
