Amy J. Henson, 29, of Bainbridge, died unexpectedly 8:40 a.m. Sunday, September 17, 2006, in Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born November 27, 1976, in Eunice, New Mexico to Howard W. and Rhonda S. Wheelen Smith. On April 19, 1997, she married Michael W. Henson, who survives.

Also surviving are children, Jonathan Michael and Abigail Sue Henson, both at home; brothers, Shawn M. (Lisa) Smith, of Sinclair, Wyoming and Steven H. (Emily) Smith, of Sabina, Ohio; father, Howard W. Smith, of Hobbs, New Mexico; mother, Rhonda S. Fisher, of Greenfield, Ohio; grandmother, Janet Wheelen, of Belfast, Ohio; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Christine Henson, of South Salem, Ohio; brother-in-law, John Henson, of South Salem, Ohio; grandfather-in-law, William Stauffer, of Chillicothe; and nieces and nephews, Kaylie, Austin, Matthew and McKenzie Smith. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Murrell Wheelen and Zach Smith; a grandmother, Billie Jo Reno, and an aunt, Patricia (Wheelen) Daniel.

Amy was a student at O.U.-Chillicothe, studying to be a teacher in early childhood education and was a member of the Bainbridge Church of Christ.

Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
