She is the only daughter, youngest of nine children born to Caroline Elizabeth (Hunting)and John Thomas Chivers.

SERVICES HONOR ELIZA KOLB:

The funeral service for Eliza Estella Chivers Kolb were held Monday, December 22 (1975) in the Davis Ward Chapel (LDS Church).

The family prayer at the mortuary was given by a brother, Clyde Chivers. Prelude and Postlude music was played by Noreen Merrell. "Oh, my Father", was sung by the Walker Quartet, Marva Lent, Frank Walker, Lois Erickson and Don Walker, accompanied by Mrs. Frank Walker. The invocation was given by Bishop Garth Atwood of Maeser Second Ward. Remarks and the obituary were given by Garn L. Johnson, first counselor of Davis Ward bishopric. The speaker was Forrest Goodrich of Tridell, followed by "The old rugged cross", sung by Peggy and Verdin Goodrich, accompanied by Noreen Merrell. The benediction was given by Frank Johnson.

Burial was in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery. The grave was dedicated by Ted E. Kolb, a son. Pallbearers were grandsons, Jack Ownbey, Jr., Raymond Kolb, Farron Kolb, Timothy Kolb, Donald Kolb, and a nephew Jack Chivers.

Luncheon was served a the Akhurst residence in Maeser by the Maeser Second Ward Relief Society, under the direction of Blanche Smith. The flowers were under the direction of the Davis Ward Relief Society.

Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs.(Barbara Kolb) Harold Pemberton and daughter (Nancy), Concord, California; Mr. and Mrs. (Larain "Chris" Kolb) Jack Ownbey, Sr., Santa Cruz, California; Mr. and Mrs. (Carolyn Fear) Ted E. Kolb, and family, Escondido, California; Mrs. (Sheri Ownbey) Mike McNary, Hayward, California; Jack J. Ownbey, Jr., Santa Cruz, California; Angela Coonradt, Midvale, Utah; Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Goodrich, Tridell, Utah; Mrs Boyd Lemon, Roosevelt; Reed Goodrich, Tridell, Utah; Mrs. (LeRee Akhurst) Al Vierra, Santa Maria, California; and Mrs. (Carolyn Akhurst) Jim McNulty, Concord, California.
