Mrs. Marvie Wallace Riley, 71, of Winnsboro, died Saturday at her residence after a long illness. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at First National Funeral Home wih the Revs. Floyd Hawthorne, Jessie Hawthorne and Julius Roberts officiating. Burial was in Coax Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Leo Lavon Riley of Natchez, Miss.; one daughter, Mrs. Ernestine Tarver of Winnsboro; a brother, Prince Ashley of Foules; two sisters, Mrs. Leathea Carter of Amarillo, Tex., and Mrs. Ethel Howard of Winnsboro; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
