OBITUARY
Robert B. "Peck" Wilcox, 82, of Blue Mound died 6:15 a.m. October 1, 1999 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in First Christian Church, Blue Mound. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Ater-Wikoff Funeral Homes Blue Mound. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery, Blue Mound, with full military rites by the Macon County Honor Guard and the Zub Vandver American Legion Post 257. Memorials First Christian Church.

Mr. Wilcox ws born on April 20, 1917, in Macon County, son of A. R. and Mary Bowles Wilcox. He was a farmer and a retired rural mail carrier in the Blue Mound area. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran who served with the 8th Air Force in Europe. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Blue Mound, American Legion Zub Vandver Post 257 in Stonington and the VFW in Taylorville. He married June Uhil on Jan 19, 1946.

Surviving are his wife, daughter, Roberta Friesner and husband Jim of Decatur; son, Trent Wilcox and wife Kathy of Forsyth, grandchildren; Lynn Wilcox and wife Tammy, Kari Foster and husband Timothy, all of Blue Mound; M'Lynda Damery and husband Brian of rural Decatur; Chad Probst of New Port Beach, CA; four great-granddaughters.

He was precided in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
