Winnie Edwards was married to William Harold Crews. They had one child that died as an infant in 1941.

Winnie was a member of the Coalville Methodist Church and a choir member for many years. She was a very sweet and caring woman and well known in the Woolmarket Community as well as her siblings. Her brother Huff also was a choir member. They were from the pioneer Edwards/Richard family of the Woolmarket and Lorraine communities.
