WINNSBORO, Dec. 19 (Special) — Funeral services for R. L. Wright, who was burned to death in a house fire Saturday near Jena, was held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Free Methodist Church of Winnsboro with the Rev. Luther Bradford officiating. Interment was in Coax Cemetery near Baskin, under the direction of First National [Funeral] Home of Winnsboro.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora D. Wright, of Winnsboro; four sons, Aaron, R. L., Jr., and Vernon all of Winnsboro and Garvin Wright with the U.S. Air Force; six daughters, Mrs. P. W. Gaulden of Houston, Tex., Mrs. A. T. Norwood, and Misses Viola, Keithia, Carolyn Sue, and Ollie Fay Wright all of Winnsboro; his father, John H. Wright of Winnsboro; five brothers, Cinnie Wright of Harrisonburg, Hershel Wright of Fowles, Clyde Wright of Winnsboro, Orba Wright of Dallas and Buck Wright of Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Burnside of Jigger, and Mrs. Laverne Sinclair of Houston, Tex.
