My Uncle Morgan and my mom used to write to each other regularly. I now have some of those letters. Morgan would refer to himself as "Little Bear", because of the Native American ancestry the Dingman family claim.
Morgan owned quite a bit of property, I believe it is located in Nelliston, which he left to his son Andrew.

MORGAN DINGMAN, PALATINE BRIDGE
Morgan Dingman Jr., 60 of Mary Street, an employee of the Penn-Central Railroad, died yesterday at his home following a long illness.
He was born in Palatine Bridge, son of Morgan and Mabel Edgerton Dingman, and married Etta Sitterly.
He was a Lutheran and was a member of the Fort Plain Beagle Club.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Etta TenEyck, Fonda; a son, Andrew Dingman, Palatine Bridge; six sisters, Mrs. Howard Taylor, Neb.; Mrs. Serafin Ibarra, Calif.; Mrs. George Vosburgh and Mrs. Edward Dingman, both of Fort Plain; Mrs. Alfred Foster, Gloversville; Mrs. Edward McRedmond, Johnstown RD; five brothers, Harry, Johnstown; Silas, fort Plain; Stewart, Gloversville; Charles, Calif.; Bradley, Northville.
The funeral will be at 2 tomorrow from the Haughtaling Funeral Home, Canajoharie. Burial will be in Canajoharie Falls Cemetery.
Calling hours are this afternoon and evening.
