POCATELLO - Carolene Sarah Dahlke Keller, 83, lost her valiant fight with cancer and passed away at the University of Utah Medical Center on September 28, 2006.

Carolene was born August 10, 1923, in Virginia (Downey) Idaho to Caroline Sarah Noah Dahlke and John Lewis Dahlke. Her grandparents (Tillotson) ran the first Stage Coach Line at Virginia Downey area.

Carolene grew up in Virginia and graduated from Downey High School. She later moved to Pocatello to work for Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph. She loved to dance; and at a dance for young servicemen she met the love of her life, a handsome Marine, Gillmore 'George' (GG) Keller.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2006, at the Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th, Pocatello, Idaho. A viewing will be held Monday evening, October 2, from 7 until 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Cambridge Cemetery in Downey, Idaho.
