Served in Co K 69th Pa. Enlisted aged 23. A labourer by trade. 5ft 7ins tall lived in Bedford Mass. Re- enlisted 6th Feb 1864 at Stevensburg Va. Went missing in action near Petersburg Va. 22nd June 1864 .Captured and one report states he had been held at Andersonville Ga. then to prison camp at Millen Ga.

Parolled Jacksonville Fla 28tH April 1865.
Had enlisted Philadelphia where he was born.
