James lived a fulfilling life and had many accomplishments; he was a retired trackman for the Illinois Central Railroad. He was a funny and well loved person. He was known to make others laugh and smile. Even in his later years, James still enjoyed fishing, bingo and riding the River Valley Metro bus. He leaves to cherish his memories; two aunts, Narciss (104 years old) and Lucille; four children; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
