On the afternoon of July 1, 2006, Corinthian Houston was abducted while playing in his grandmother's front yard in Natchitoches, LA. His abductor took him to an abandoned house in Coushatta, LA, and killed him.

Corinthian was a typical little boy loved playing with toy cars and riding his bike. At his killer's trial, his father said that he knew something was wrong when he saw Corinthian's bike leaning against a tree without him on it. "Oh, he loved that bike," Marcus Houston said with a smile.

Corinthian is survived by his loving parents, Marcus Houston Sr. and Pamela Fisher; sister, Makayla Houston; brother, Marcus Houston Jr.; and grandmother, Lillie Parker.

In 2008, Corinthian's killer was convicted of his murder and sentenced to death. At the sentencing, Marcus Houston said his first stop on the way home was going to be the cemetery where Corinthian is buried "to tell him what happened." In 2016, Corinthian's killer took his own life in Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, LA.
