CHANDLER - Ila Rogers Carver, 75, of Route 3 Young's Cove Road died Tuesday night at her home after a period of declining health.
A native of Monroe County, Tenn. she was the daughter of the late James and Laura Taylor Rogers. She was a former Canton resident and had resided in Buncombe County for the past 23 years.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday in Union Hill Cemetery at Whittier. The Rev. Fred C. Fore will officiate.
The body will remain at Wells Funeral Home, Canton, until the service hour.
