Mrs. Viola R. Anderson, 79, of 585 N. Columbus St., died at 6:20 a.m. today at the Greene Hill Nursing Home, Rogers St.
A lifelong resident of Xenia, she was born here Aug. 12, 1883, the daughter of Jordon and Lizzie Collins Robb. She was a member of St. John's AME Church.
Survivors include three sons, Jordon of Wilmington and Harold and Titus Anderson of Xenia; two daughters, Mrs. Laura E. Brown of Xenia and Mrs. Charlotte Turner of San Francisco, Calif. and seven grandchildren.
Her husband Christopher Anderson, preceded her in death in 1940.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Winfrey Funeral Home, 323 E. Market St., where friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. Interment will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
