Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 22, 2008 in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Ranger. There is no set visitation but the funeral home will be open until 9:00 P.M. Burial was in Merriman Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral

Ima was born July 31, 1918 in Ranger to Elzie and Alice (Crawford) Pruett. She married Bill W. Johnston on January 16, 1935. Bill preceded her in death in 1980. Ima Mae is also preceded in death by two children, Corky Johnston & Lynette Stowe, a brother, Kenneth Pruett (RHS-1939), and
three sisters, Dee Key, Dot Willingham, and Billie Tudor.
She is survived by her children, Joann Kinder, Billy Ray Johnston, Gladys Walker, Jerry Johnston, Jimmy Johnston, Roger Johnston and Mary Alice Choate; a brother, Elzie Pruett, Jr; 25 grandchildren, an abundance of great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
