ONTARIO, Oct. 31 - Mrs. Rosario Rubidoux, 68 years old, wife of Abundo Rubidoux of Riverside, and member of one of the oldest and beat known families in Southern California died suddenly in Ontario today at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Rubidoux, 426 East Park Street, whom she had been visiting for the past seven weeks.
Mrs. Rubidoux had been in poor health for some weeks but her death was unexpected and came as a shock. She is survived by her husband, five sons, C. M. Willard, L. J. and Abundo Jr., and two daughters, Mrs. C. Roma and Mrs. F. Cole of Los Angeles.
Mrs. Rubidoux was the daughter of Esquralo Trujillo and his mother was Dolores Garcia, both pioneer Californians. The now famous Rubidoux Mountain at Riverside is named after the Rubidoux family.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at St. George's Catholic church with interment in Bellevue Cemetery.
