Young M. (Doc) Miley a resident of Mileytown, died at 11:30 a.m. at the Washington St. Tammany Hospital. He was 85 years old.
The funeral procession was scheduled to leave Brown Funeral Home for 2:30 pm today for services at Central Baptist Church. Revs. Earnest Seal and J. Wes Brown were to officiate and his internment at Miley cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ida Adams Miley, three daughters; Mdms. Velma Temples, and Mrs. Artimeze Miley of Bogalusa and Mrs. Earlene Anderson of Hope, Ark. Five sons; John, Rev. Howard of Bogalusa, Willard, Fred and Richard of Varnado, five brothers; Joe, Morris, Morgan, Luther and Boone all of varnado, two sisters; Mrs. Lena Fussell and Mrs. Jane Temples of Varnado and 15 grandchildren and 35 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
