Died. Alfred Bowser, one of the early settlers of this county, died at his home southwest of Holton, Monday June 9th. Mr. Bowser was born and raised in Tennessee, and came to Jackson county among the first. He was 63 years old at his death, and was generally respected as an honest, hard-working good citizen.
