Peter is the son of Solomon who is my 4th great grandfather. He was married to Annie Brittian.
Her Birth was about 1835 in Burke County, NC
Her Death after 1900 in Cleveland County NC

Their children were
Nancy Caroline Buff Hoyle 1852 – 1933
Wilburn Buff 1855 – 1929
Peter Alexander Buff 1857 – 1928
Lorenzo Solomon Buff 1860 – 1864

Parents of Solomon Buff were
Phillip Buff and
Mary Watts 1810 – 1870

Peter's father died at the battle of Bull Run in the Civil War. He was in the NC 16TH Regiment Infantry, Company E.

Many of the men from this battle were buried in a mass grave and unmarked graves.

His mother Annie later married John Watts.

Peter's father Solomon died at the battle of Bull Run in the Civil War. He was in the NC 16TH Regiment Infantry, Company E.
Many of the men from this battle were buried in a mass grave and unmarked graves.

Solomon's wife Annie later married John Watts, they had no children.
I have done a lot of research but never discovered where Annie is buried.

Solomon and Annie are my 3rd great grandparents.
