Solomon died at the battle of Bull Run in the Civil War. He was in the NC 16TH Regiment Infantry, Company E.
Many of the men from this battle were buried in a mass grave and unmarked graves.
His wife Annie later married John Watts, they had no children.
I have done a lot of research but never discovered where Annie is buried and I haven't been able to locate any pictures of her.
**I had a photo of Annie's daughter here and explained that it was her daughter and not her but was told to remove it by another member.** Insert unhappy smiley face here.
Their children were
Nancy Caroline Buff Hoyle 1852 – 1933
Wilburn Buff 1855 – 1929
Peter Alexander Buff 1857 – 1928
Lorenzo Solomon Buff 1860 – 1864
