Edna Earl Jackson
PHILADELPHIA- Services for Edna Earl Jackson will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel, with the Revs. Dan Howard and Don Caviness officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery with John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Jackson, 78, of Philadelphia died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 at Neshoba County Nursing Home in Philadelphia. She was employed with the Neshoba County School system and attended Mississippi Southern University. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Military Order of Purple Heart Auxiliary. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include husband of 56 years, Otha Dill "O. D." Jackson; son, Willie Jackson and his wife Susan all of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Bryant and his wife LeAnna, Lane and Reagan Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents James K. Hillman and Nettie V. Majure.
The family requests memorials be made to Gideon International.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. -7 p.m. at the funeral home.
