Edward Allen Jones, 83, 856-3rd East, died Monday at a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes.

Born Nov. 8, 1877, Heber, Wasatch County, to Elisha and Caroline Delight Allen Jones.

Married Jane Eleanor Clegg March 22, 1899, Heber. She died June 15, 1910. Married Alverta B. Adams, Manti Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1958.

Active member LDS Church. Served two LDS missions.

Survivors: Daughters son, Drucilla J. Powell, Salt Lake City; Orilla J. Higgins, Granite; Stella J. Hastings, Allen C. Jones, both of Price, Carbon County; Darlene J. Gull, Kearns; two stepchildren, Von Stanley Adams, Kearns; Rose Aleen Dastrup, Salinas, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 239 great-grandchildren; on great-great-grandchild; sister, Louisa Morris, Heber.

Funeral Thursday, 10 a.m., 36 E. 7th South where friends call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., Thursday prior. Graveside services Thursday, Manti City Cemtery.
