Dwight Moody 1924 ~ 2003 DELTA- Bryant Dwight Moody, age 79, passed away June 14, 2003 in Delta. Born May 24, 1924 in Hinckley to Bryant Mahonri and LaVerna Wright Moody. Married Margie Jensen, September 21, 1943 in Deseret. Later solemnized in Manti Temple.Hinckley High School graduate. World War II Air Force Medic. Teaching certificate in administration and special education from USU. Elementary and secondary school teacher 34 years. Delta Second Ward bishopric and numerous LDS Church positions. Great love was doing things with family. Yearly fishing, hunting, snow skiing, water skiing, golfing outings. Five fishing trips to Alaska with children and grand-children. Hunted deer and elk in Oak City Canyon, Black Rock, Salina Canyon and passed on the love of outdoors. Traveled to Europe, Branson, Hawaii and Eastern States. Survived by sons and daughters: Ron (Karen) Moody, Elk Ridge; Doris (Bill) Miller, Bluffdale; Gary (Sherrie) Moody, Elk Ridge; Linda (Craig) Nielsen, Thousand Oaks, CA; 19 grandchildren; four great-grand-children; brothers: Venor (Rhea) Moody, Las Vegas; John (Kay) Moody, Scottsdale, AZ; sister: Mary (Cleo) Christensen, Sutherland; Brothers-in-law: Homer (Beulah) Jensen, Deseret; Max (Anne) Jensen, San Bernardino, CA. Preceded in death by sisters: Myrlene Turner, Carol Cropper. Funeral services Wednesday, June 18, 2003, 11 a.m., Delta Stake Center.
