Judy (nee Briggs) Burkett, 57, of Seville, went to be home with the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2007.
She was born April 17, 1950, in Wadsworth to Robert and Janice Briggs and graduated in 1968 from Cloverleaf High School. She was employed at Westfield Group for 30 years. Judy loved gardening and spending time with family. She was a very giving and loving person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son Anthony; mother, Janice of Seville; sisters, Cathy (Harry) Kimes of Homeworth, Ohio, Wendy (Steve) Avery of Canfield and Jill (Jeff) DeHaan of Wooster; brothers, Bob of Sparks, Nev., Chris (Janet) of Doylestown and Jon (Belinda) of Orrville; and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her son, Michael; father, Robert; and nephew, Nicholas Avery.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Seville United Methodist Church, 74 W. Main St. Armstrong-Waite Funeral Home, Seville, is handling arrangements.
