Judy Ann Prince, 61, of Highlands passed away Tuesday, Oct 7, 2008 in a Houston hospital after losing a long battle with illness. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her departure to be with the lord.

Born in DeRidder, Louisiana January 11, 1947 to Wiltz and Helen Barron, her main devotion in life was to her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandsons.

Preceded in life by her parents and father in law James Ray Prince and brothers in law Billy Don Prince and Robert Moore.

Judy is survived by her husband Charles Milton Prince, her mother in law Alpha B. Prince, her sisters Melrose Chaumont of Hayes, La., Marvelene and husband Charles Guillory of Elmgrove, La., Joan and husband Jesse Anderson and Carol Sue and husband Allen Bertrand of Keithville, La., and her brother Donice Barron and wife Judy of Kenner, La.

Also her pride and joy her daughters Jutina Silvey of Houston, Regina and husband Steve Harris of Incline Village, Nv., Deanna Powell of Dayton, Tx., Lajuana Powell and Julie Gilley of Highlands and Tammy and husband Eddi Pamar of Jonestown, Tx.

Also her grandchildren Amanda Rogers, Jason Parker, Michael Madison, Ginger Rossi, Jace, Colby and Tyler McKinney, Sean, Natalie, and Kirsten Harris, Megyn Powell, Charles Gilley, and Kayla Morley. Great grandsons Taylor Powell, Landon Rogers, and Alex Rossi. Also many brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, October 10, 2008 from 5-8pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 2pm at Sterling-White with interment following at Sterling-White Cemetery.
