ATHENS — Services for Lena Pearl Davis, 84, of the Bethel Community, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Christian Church with the Rev. James Rawlins and the Rev. Darrel Hoffmaster officiating.
Graveside services with honors under the auspices of Athens Rebekah Lodge No. 23 will be in Meredith Campground Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis died Aug. 22, 2008, at home.
She was born April 26, 1924, in Capitan, New Mexico, to the late Jobe Edward and Addie Mae Jackson Crabtree. She had been a resident of Athens most of her life. She was a member of Bethel Christian Church and Athens Rebekah Lodge No. 23.
Family preceeding her in death include her husband, Millard B. Davis, in 1993; brothers, Tony, Elmer, Lloyd and Jasper Crabtree; sisters, Lillian McGregor, Addie Lou Wood, Ruby Crabtree; and son-in-law, Jim Cleckley.
Survivors include son, Jon N. Davis; daughters, Connie Lovelady and husband, David, Mary Cleckley, Nancy Morgan and husband, Jess, Frances Cain and husband Bill, all of Athens; brother, Bennie Crabtree of Athens; sisters, Jackie Snowden, Frances Terrell, both of Athens; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shane Lindsey, Mike Baldwin, Russell Wilson, Cody Childress, Brandon Blake and James Graham.
Todd Danby will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Family will receive condolence calls at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
