Tony L. Crabtree
Tony Lee Crabtree, 71, of Fort Worth, died
June 24, 1989, in Granbury.
Services were 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Horace Crowder officiating. Burial was in the Campbell-Elrod Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 3, 1917 in Decatur, and had lived in Fort Worth since 1952. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Tarrant County Highway Department, and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Cliffie Mae Crabtree of Fort Worth; two daughters, Margaret Sue Ryder and Dorothy Jane Dodson, both of Houston; two grandchildren; five sisters, Lillian Elizabeth McGregor, Addle Lou Wood, Lena Pearl Davis, Jackie Jo Snowden, Frances Jean Warren, all of Athens one brother, Benjamin Thomas Crabtree of Tennessee; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bill McCoy, Bill Blackstock, Bobby Warren, Gerald Wood, Harold Wood, Tommy Snowden, Darrell Snowden, and Dwayne Crabtree.


Additional note:
Tony was the 4th son of Jobe Edward and Addie Mae Jackson Crabtree. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers William Elmer, Jasper Newton, and Lloyd Edward, and 1 sister Ruby Katheryn Crabtree.
