Emeline DePallies was a daughter of Joseph Pallies & Elizabeth Barrett. She was the 1st wife of William Brewster Cooper. They were married on 1 Jun 1834 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts by the Rev. Mr. Malcolm. [C.C.-4 Jun 1834]

According to the Columbian Centennial newspaper, her parents died in Boston. They had been married on 21 Mar 1802 in Boston by the Rev. John Eliot.

Her father, Joseph Pallies died 14 Sep 1819 of consumption, aged 44. [C.C.-15 Sep 1819]
Her mother, Elizabeth (Barrett) Pallies, died 19 Jul 1820, relict of Joseph Pallies, formerly of Danvers, aged 44. [C.C.-22 Jul 1820]
This differs from the gravestone information for Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Pallies, at Copps Hill Burying Ground in Boston, who it says died 4 Nov 1811, AEt. 30.
William, son of Joseph Pallies, died 29 Mar 1812 and is also buried at Copps Hill Burying Ground in Boston. His obituary was also in the Columbian Centennial newspaper. [C.C.- 1 Apr 1812]
