He was born October 5, 1916 at Ashford and was a son of the late Marshal and Cora Barker Pullins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Pullins; and brother, "Hodge" Pullins.
He was a retired coal miner and was a WWII veteran.
He is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Judy Bell and Tilden of Chapmanville, Dixie Susman and Ben of Beckley, and Nancy Bias and Ricky of Madison; and two grandchildren, Damian Bias and Ashton Bias.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008 at Handley Funeral Home Danville with Pastor John Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Barker Cemetery, Ashford with military graveside rites performed by VFW Daniel Boone Post 5578, Madison, West Virginia.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
