CANTON -- Mildred F. Speers, 63, of 210 W. Walnut died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1995, at Graham Hospital Extended Care Unit.

Born Sept. 1, 1931, in Canton to Harry and Dorothy Barnes Graham, she married Charles VanMiddlesworth on Feb. 12, 1949. He died Nov. 8, 1978. She later married William Speers on Sept. 1, 1973. He died May 4, 1981. Two brothers also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Lon VanMiddlesworth of Canton; two daughters, Laura Winter of Spokane, Wash., and Cindy Hopper of Canton; two brothers, Max Graham of Canton and Richard Graham of Summum; two sisters, Ruth Batterton of Astoria and Rose Anderson of Vermont; five grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home. The Rev. Delmar Smith will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
