Minnie Amanda Dominy, the seventh child of Daniel Jasper Dominy and his wife, Cynthia Ann Elizabeth Fondren, was born August 6, 1880, possibly at the "Home Place". On October 27, 1897, she married John Milton Creasy in a wedding ceremony performed by Reverend F. A. Beckman at Pennington, TX. She died June 1, 1964, and was buried at the Pennington Cemetery.
John Milton Creasy was born January 27, 1872, and died June 1, 1964, Kennard, TX, and was buried at Pennington Cemetery, Trinity County, TX. They had five children: William Buford, Evie Lorraine, Rayal Milton, Mildred, Aletha, and Daniel Clayton.
William Buford Creasy was born November 28, 1898, and died August 3, 1953, married June 8, 1920, Eunice Julian. They had three children.
(a) Buford Edwin Creasy, born April 6, 1921, Groveton, TX, married Yvonne Ponder of Crecy, TX, on February 24, 1942. Their adopted twin daughters, Mary and Martha, were born February 14, 1947.
(b) James Darwin Creasy was born March 2, 1926, and died October 13, 1984, Trinity, TX, buried Glenwood Cemetery, Groveton, TX, married August 4, 1946, Robbie B. Due, born May 30, 1927, Antioch Community, Trinity County, TX. Darwin was the Tax Assessor-Collector in Trinity County for 24 years. Their three children are: twin boys James Cary and John Larry, born August 29, 1947, Lufkin, TX, and Jane Ellen, born October 1, 1958. John Larry died September 3, 1947, and is buried in Glenwood Cemetery, Groveton, TX.
(c) Gerald Max Creasy, born May 19, 1929, married July 3, 1959, Jane Ransom, born January 13, 1937. They live in Houston, TX, and have two children, Karen Elaine, born March 31, 1965, and Julie Marie, born May 11, 1968.
