PERRY -- Robert Howard Bowen, 74, died Dec. 29. He was a native of Toombs County and a resident of Eastman most of his life. He lived in Perry the past four years and retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation. He was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: a son, Robert Carl Bowen of Perry; daughters, Carlene Pierce and Jeanelle Land, both of Perry; and brothers, David and Ben Bowen, both of Lyons, and Winston Bowen of Yulee, Fla.

VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Ronnie L. Stewart & Son Funeral Service in Vidalia.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday at Ronnie L. Stewart & Son Funeral Service, burial in Old Mount Zion Cemetery in Ohoopee. -Savannah Now, Dec 1999
