A BIOGRAPHY OF ELIJAH FAST, by Larry Overmire (GG Nephew), Oct. 2008:

Born on Nov. 27, 1824, Elijah was the youngest of six sons of Martin and Catharine (Blosser) Fast. He married Elizabeth Deibler on Nov. 9, 1854, in Ashland Co., OH. They had five children: Mary Ellen, Ida Jane, Lucinda Nancy, Charles S. and Orlo.

Elijah was a farmer and carpenter. He died in Sullivan, Ashland Co., OH, on Jan. 23, 1912, at the age of 87, and was buried in Southview Cemetery.
