Sally Louise McRee Baldwin
BORGER - Sally Louise McRee Baldwin, 89, died Friday, Jan. 3, 1997.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Brown Funeral Directors Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Andy Dietz officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Baldwin was born in Valentine to a pioneer family and moved to Hansford County as a teen. She attended Panhandle A&M at Goodwell, Okla., and graduated from West Texas State College at Canyon.
She was a first-grade teacher at Elkhart, Kan., Taos, N.M., the Rafferty School, located south of Gruver, Okla., and had taught for 12 years at the Spring Creek School east of Borger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.H. "Jimmy" Baldwin in 1987.
Survivors include two nephews, Harold Ormon of Borger and Rex Ormon of Clovis, N.M.,; and several other nieces and nephews.
