Mrs. Arva Lake Orman, 70, a local resident since 1936 died at her home, 1319 Potter, about 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

Mrs. Orman was active in a variety of community functions, was a member of the Borger First Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 811.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday from the First Baptist Church, the Rev. Joe D. Ray, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Jeff Moore, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ed Brown, Funeral Directors.

Surviving are her husband, T.H. Orman, of the home; three sons Harold and Kenneth of Borger and Rex of Clovis, N.M.; a sister, Mrs. James Baldwin, Borger; three brothers, Jim McRee, Albuquerque, N.M., Vick McRee, Lubbock and Bill McRee of Big Springs; her mother, Mrs. Fred McRee of Borger; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be John Mars, Frank Sheets, Orville Shepherd, Howard Zello, Billy Jackson and Loyce Box. Assisting at the church will be Luther Jones and Ralph Bandy.

The casket will remain closed at the church.
