Agnes Geneva Skidmore, 94, daughter of John and Caroline York, was born Jan. 10, 1884, and died February 11, 1978.

She was united in marriage to George Skidmore in Feb. 1899. To this union 12 children were born.

Preceding her in death were her husband, George; three sons, Henry, Cyrus, and James; four daughters, Martha, Geneva, Lizzie, and Edith.

Survivors are three sons, Rubben of Lecoma, John of Bennington, Neb., Lacy of Laquey; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Salley) Leonard of Lecoma and Mrs. Clabe (May) Sullins of Licking; one sister, Susan Stockton, of Grand Junction, Colo., and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Ann's Baptist Church.

Mrs. Skidmore had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leonard and Walter the past 20 years where she was at the time of her death.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Curtis Yarnell officiating. Burial was in Palace Cemetery under the direction of Fox-Smith-Ferguson Funeral Home of Licking.
