Clara May Skidmore Sullins, 75, of Licking died Aug. 5, 1989, at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.

She was born Feb. 9, 1914, at Evening Shade, the daughter of George and Agnes Skidmore. She married Clabe Sullins Nov. 21, 1932. They had 14 children.

She had lived at the Heritage Park Nursing Home for the last three years.

Surviving are five sons, Narvel, Dale, Harold and Frank Sullins of Licking and Harvey Sullins of Success; six daughters, Bertha Sellers, Zedena Ullom, Caroline Huff, Alta Skidmore, Maybelle Gale and Geneva Burgdorf of Licking; a sister, Sally Leonard, of Lccoma; a brother, Rube Skidmore of Lccoma; 39 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Tilden; two infant daughters, five brothers and five sisters.

Services were Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Licking with the Rev. Curtis Yarnell officiating. Burial was in the Craddock Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home of Licking.
