Foy was a member of Cross Roads Church of Christ. Mr. Heffington served in the United States Navy during World War II; and was one of the last surviving veterans of Pearl Harbor. After 20 years of service in the Navy, he retired as a chief petty officer. He also retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Jewell Hoggard Heffington of the home; brother, Elton Heffington of Conway; sister Jewell (Jay) Heffington Beene of Enola and a number of nieces and nephews and other friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, (501) 327-7727 with Tommy Frank Bailey officiating. Burial will be in the Heffington Cemetery near Enola.
Pallbearers will be Tony Beene, David Heffington, John Pommer, Trent Pommer, Zack Pommer, Tommy Frank Gadberry, Terrell Lasley, James Beene, Neal Martin, Roy Thomas Hoggard.
