Wendy Lynn Duncan, 55, Oklahoma City Passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008 at her home after a lengthy battle with Ovarian Cancer. Wendy was born in Oklahoma City to the late Ben Doescher and Amy (Webb) Doescher. She was the middle of three children. She married Jim Duncan on June 4, 1977 and lovingly raised one daughter she worked part time for a Shelter Insurance Agency. Wendy was co-founder of Hope In Oklahoma, a support group that is reaching out across the entire state of Oklahoma supporting women diagnosed with all gynecological Cancer while educating others about the early warning signs and symptoms. Wendy was survived by her husband of 31 years, Jim one daughter, Kathryn Michelle Gritzmaker and husband Jarred one granddaughter Willow Raine Gritzmaker her mother Amy Doescher sister Pam Bergin mother-in-law Argie Duncan, and many loving family members. A funeral service will be held 9:00am, Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Covenant Presbyterian Church with interment to follow at Yukon Cemetery.
