Funeral services were conducted by Burl Grubb at the Market Street Church of Christ, Thursday afternoon, for Edd Martin Kelley, 51, Athens merchant, whose death occurred at the local hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. Kelley had only recently returned from the Mayo Clinic at Rochester, Minnesota. Burial took place in the city cemetery, with W. A. Looney, Clarence White, Allen Beasley, John J. Huber, E. T. Gray and Charlie Hill as pallbearers.
Surviving are the widow, one daughter, two sons, two sisters and five brothers.
